2025 Scholars of Excellence and Crusader Scholarship
New things are on the horizon for the University of Dallas and our most prestigious scholarship competitions.
All applicants are invited to submit an application and essay. Those scholars with the most outstanding academic accomplishments will compete for full tuition awards in the Scholars of Excellence competition (an in-person competition on February 21 and 22), and applicants who stand out as offering a unique contribution to the culture and community of the University of Dallas will compete in the Crusader Scholarship contest (an in person and/or virtual option, with a creative and expressive component). Students will compete in either the Scholars competition or the Crusader competition, but not both. However, Students can register to compete in one or more of our disciplinary scholarships. Students who win a full-tuition scholarship will be ineligible for any other UD scholarship or grant, except for need-based aid based on a completed FAFSA.
Students who have applied to UDallas AND who have submitted their SOE/Crusader scholarship application will be notified as to which competition they are eligible for and what the parameters of the competition will be. All competitive scholarship competitions will take place no later than March 1st.
